Obituary of Jack William Forster

Jack William Forster of Calgary passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Jack was born on April 22, 1928 in Winnipeg, MB. He was actively involved in St. John’s Ambulance, serving as an instructor in various areas, as well as the Calgary Fish and Game Association. Jack was a great outdoorsman and loved photography. He was involved in his community and his children’s activities. He was a passionate and caring man who always looked for ways to make things better for his community or for the natural environments. Jack will be loved and missed by his two children, Russ and Liz Forster and Kay and Russ Sherstobitoff; his four granddaughters, Jordan (eleven), Meagan (ten), Katherine (six), and Jennifer (three); and his brother Herbert Forster.
