Obituary of Phyllis Alberta Klippert

Phyllis Alberta Klippert (nee Stone) of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Phyllis was born January 16, 1915 on the “Stone” family farm, fifty miles west of Wetaskiwin at Knob Hill, AB. She was the second youngest child of eleven. Phyllis moved to Calgary at the age of seventeen, and was a Nanny, Housekeeper and Cook. In 1943, Phyllis married William Eldon Klippert, and later worked at the Downtown Bay for twenty years. She was a faithful member of the First Alliance Church and Crescent Heights Baptist Church. Phyllis is survived by her only son, Jim Klippert of Calgary; three grandchildren, Heather (Roy) Valberg, William Klippert, and Benjaman Klippert; and two great-grandchildren, Mekeila and Jeffery. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1986 and her siblings. Funeral Services will be held at Crescent Heights Baptist Church (1212 – 1st Street N.W.) on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
