Obituary of Donna Joyce Pollyck

Donna Joyce Pollyck (nee Wray) of Calgary passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at the AgapÚ Hospice. Donna was born on May 9, 1933, in Airdrie, AB, to Willard and Ankie Wray. She grew up in Airdrie and had a love of sports and a passion for baseball. Donna attended SAIT and mastered the art of Dressmaking, which she practiced throughout her life. She met Roy in Airdrie and was married February 1958 at the age of twenty-four years. After several moves and two children, they settled in north Calgary where Roy resides today. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years Roy John; and her sons Randal and Scott (Sharon); daughters, Stephanie and Heather of Airdrie, and Morgan Wray (Dawn) and their daughters Sydney and Ashley of Calgary. She will be dearly missed by her loving siblings Greta of Airdrie, Ruth (Fred) of Bend, OR, Waldon (Darleen) of Quill Lake, SK, and Carol (Hunt) of Atlanta, GA. A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at the Woodside Golf Course in Airdrie (525 Woodside Drive) on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
