Obituary of Carlos Morales Laxamana
Carlos Laxamana passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the age of 84 years, of heart failure.
Carlos was born on April 6, 1920 in Manila, Philippines. He was a World War II Veteran. Carlos immigrated to Canada in November 1982. He will always be remembered for his commitment and closeness to his family, relatives and close friends.
Carlos is survived by his loving wife Elvira; his six children and their spouses, Vicky (Vic) of Calgary, Flordeliza (Peter) of Winnipeg, MB, Celia (Roland) of Calgary, Carlito (Olivia) of Manila, Philippines, Renato (Diady) of San Diego, CA, and Carl (Gina); his sister Cecelia of Manila, Philippines; and seventeen grandchildren; as well as four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
