Obituary of Jack MacNaughton Carson
Jack MacNaughton Carson, beloved husband of Lois, passed away at the age of 81 years on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 after a brief illness, surrounded by his family.
Jack grew up in Saint John, NB. He was proud to have served with the Canadian Forces overseas with the Twenty-Third Field Artillery in Holland and Germany. Upon his return, Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University. He joined Zellers in 1950, spending his entire career with the company before retiring in 1986. In 1990, Jack and Lois moved to Priddis Greens, AB where his occupations became golf in the summer and skiing in the winter, as well as “Grampie” to his grandchildren. We miss you, we celebrate you, we love you.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Lois, his children, David (Maggi), Peter (Joan), and Lorie (Chris). He is also survived by his grandchildren Megan, Scott, Tim, Alison, David and Hannah, as well as his brothers, Don (Aldra), Bill (Marma) and his sister Joyce (Art). Jack was predeceased by his brother Rex (Grace); and his sister Jean (Murray).
Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church (924 Heritage Drive S.W.) on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
