Obituary of Mildred Amelia Feader
Mildred Amelia Feader, beloved wife of Wes Feader of Calgary (formerly of Melita, MB), passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the age of 87 years.
Mildred was born on August 8, 1917 in Carievale, SK. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and also sang with the Melita Bel Aires in Melita, MB. Mildred loved to play the piano and sing with friends and family. Her family was of the utmost importance to her and she especially enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Besides her loving husband Wes, Mildred is survived by her children and their spouses, Lynda and Terry O’Connor, Barry and Barb Lindsay, and Kathy Feader; six grandchildren, Tim Fawcett, Shelley (Chris) Osmond, Mark Fawcett, Jeff (Niamh) Lindsay, Nancy (Patrick) Nord, and Brad (Heather) Lindsay; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Ruth Townsend; brother Jim (Melba) Walker; sister-in-laws Vivian Walker and Helen Walker-Boyd; dear friend Elma Cobb; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her first husband Russ Lindsay; and brothers, Norman and Allan.
