Obituary of Carole Mary Dornstauder

Carole Dornstauder, beloved wife of Dennis Dornstauder of Irricana, AB, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the age of 64 years. Carole was born on May 24, 1940 in Paradise Hill, SK. Carole and Dennis were married on December 29, 1958. She has resided in Irricana since 1975 and was involved in the community. Carole enjoyed art and displayed this through the many crafts that adorned her and many friends’ homes. She was never afraid to try new things. She also loved music and Karaoke. Besides her loving husband, Carole is remembered by a son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Megan Dornstauder of Irricana; a special daughter-in-law Karen Decoste of Porter Lake, NS; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl and Dan Melody, and Kimberly Dornstauder, all of Airdrie; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Fay and Leo Colliou of St. Paul, AB, and Wanda Huber of Wetaskiwin, AB; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Alana of Strathmore, AB. Carole was predeceased by a son Lonnie in 1999 and her parents Jack and Valma Huber. Funeral Services will be held at Irricana Community Hall (Irricana, AB) on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Sister Marie Moquin officiating. Graveside Service to follow at Irricana Cemetery.
