Obituary of Joan Alice Marie Sweetman

Joan Sweetman of Calgary passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Joan was born on May 20, 1920 in RedHill Surrey, England. She was a dedicated member of the War Brides Association. She is survived by her children, Patricia and Bob Hewlett , Ann and Al Malloy and Barry Sweetman; grandchildren Susie, Rob, Randy, Rick, Donna, and Mike; great-grandchildren Christopher, Tamara, Christopher, Courtney, and Brandon; and great-great-grandaughter Alyssa. She was predeceased by her husband William George in 1973. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow in Field of Honour at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
