Floyd began his career as a school teacher in Innisfree, Alberta. He then had a long and rewarding career at Shell Canada Resources. An avid golfer and a keen gardener, Floyd was happiest when he was outdoors enjoying nature. He was a kind and gentle soul, a loving and devoted husband and father, and always a generous-spirited friend. With the patient, loving support of his family and the valuable help of his caregivers at the Carewest Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, Floyd showed all who knew him the true meaning of courage and love in facing the challenges of Parkinson’s disease. He will never be forgotten.
