Obituary of Terry Becker

Theresa (Terry) Charlotte Becker, beloved wife of Mr. Nick Becker for fifty-seven years of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born on October 29, 1920 in Medicine Hat, AB, and attended St. Theresa’s Academy in Medicine Hat and St. Mary’s Girl School in Calgary. Terry had been a Secretary for Imperial Oil and SAIT. Her pastimes included needlepoint, quilting and dancing. Besides her loving husband Nick, Terry is also survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Pat Stone and Ron Perry and Peggy Rankin, all of Calgary as well as one granddaughter, Nicole Rankin. She is also survived by her sister Peggy Cassidy of Calgary; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings, her grandson Robby and numerous other family members. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Avinash Colaco, Presider.
