Jack Wolfe

Obituary of Jack R. Wolfe

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack R. Wolfe of Calgary, AB, who went to be with his Heavenly Father, the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on February 15, 2005. Jack was only 57 years old. Jack will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and his zest for life. He worked tirelessly for his own accounting firm, Sig-Ney Consultants Ltd. of Calgary, and as the Chief Financial Officer of Merendon Mining Corporation. While he traveled the world for his work, his true passion was spreading the Word of God. He handed out countless Gideon New Testament Bibles to people in Honduras, Venezuela, Peru, and Ecuador. His other favorite gift to give away was the “Jesus” video from Campus Crusade for Christ. Jack brought the Bibles and videos with him and gave them away wherever his business trips took him. It was on his way home from one of these trips that Jack passed away, surrounded by his family members. Jack is survived by his loving wife of almost thirty-nine years, Lesa Wolfe, his three children, Alanna (Tony) VanLeeuwen of Abbotsford, BC, Sharon (Justin) Dallaire of Calgary, and Jared Wolfe (Tracy Vandertogt) of Calgary. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Wolfe, his sister Mary Peters and his brother, Larry Wolfe, all of Steinbach, MB. Jack was predeceased by his father, Peter Wolfe and sister, Nettie Peters. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at First Alliance Church (1201 Glenmore Trail S.W.) on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
