Obituary of Mavis Schnell

Mavis Schnell of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the age of 65 years. She will be fondly remembered as a mother and a friend, full of spirit, energy, and generosity. She was a passionate and active supporter of the democratic process. Mavis was always prepared to supply energy to every situation and was always giving. She helped many people through her lifetime in real estate and assisting special needs. She is survived by her children Tamara Schmidt of Calgary; Roxanne Taylor of Calgary; Greg Schnell of The Hague, Netherlands; Tracey Jones of Wanham; Natalie Hudec of Airdrie and Ron Schnell of Calgary. Mavis had eight granddaughters and five grandsons. She is also survived by four sisters and four brothers, Janice Petterson, Ione Wanner, Inis Marcotte, Thorine Olson, Ken Waldal, Wally Waldal, Casper Waldal, and Thor Waldal.
