Obituary of Paul Edward Henry Samson
Paul Edward Henry Samson of Calgary passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the age of 76 years.
Paul grew up in Northern Saskatchewan and started his adult life working for the BC lumber industry. He also enjoyed working with the City of Calgary for thirty years in the Mechanical Services Department. Paul married Jeannette in 1949 at Port Alberni, BC. He loved golfing, camping, curling, and playing music. He enjoyed walking everyday to stay in shape. His favorite hobby was wood-working and over the years made many pieces of furniture and games.
Paul is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Judy; and three grandchildren, Brianne, Taryn and Evan, all of Calgary. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence and Cy Mullis of Prince Albert, BC and Eileen and Larry Rempel of Weyakwin, SK; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roland and Marlene of Port Alberni, BC and Norman and Bertha of Prince Albert, SK. Paul was predeceased by his wife Jeannette; two sisters, Alma and Bernadette; brother-in-law Lester Weiss; and his parents, Henry and Bertha.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 – 4th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev.
