Obituary of Alice Schaffer

Alice (Harvene) Schaffer of Calgary passed away on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the age of 75 years. Harvene resided in Bassano, AB with her family until she moved to Calgary, AB in 2000. Harvene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Valerie Schaffer, of Calgary, AB; her daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and Roland Hallock of Swan Hills, AB; seven grandchildren, Karine, Amy, Tim, Jennifer, Shawna, Robin and Kim; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Thorne, and Daisy MacDonald; and brothers, Paul Ricalton (Madelean) and Neil Ricalton (Faye). Harvene was predeceased by her husband Cliff in April 29, 1994; as well by her parents, Charles and Ruby Ricalton; and sister Esther Biffert. Funeral Services will be held at Crossroads Community Church (912 – 19th Street N.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Doug Schroeder officiating. Graveside Service will be held in the Bassano Cemetery (Bassano, AB) on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
