Condolences
Rest in peace my old friend, brother, best man. You we a big part of my life growing up,you made me what i am today . Now that you’re gone to your Fly in fishing trip in the heavens check out if John Candy is around to captain your boat and you can catch that lunker we always dreamed of.
Rest in peace but stir it up a bit wherever you are.

I am going to miss my dear friend….our sushi dates, changing the words to the Timberland song from “It’s too late to apologize” to “It’s too late to order fries”, and working in our favorite word “Afro whores” into any and every sentence we could, but most of all the true friendship that we developed! I was just looking at the Facebook message you sent me that started with “Hi Nat, I miss you.” I am so sad Daryl…I already miss you….
I will miss him. He was a great guy, I considered him a friend.
Daryl was a best friend and stable figure in my life spanning several decades. I was shocked and devastated when I heard he had passed.
Genuine, considerate, intelligent, funny and fun-loving…always had an encouraging word and always knew how to spin things in a positive light. I admired his humble spirit and ability to relate to practically anybody. His outgoing and open, sincere approach made him a favorite of anybody who knew him and I was always proud to say he was my best bud.
I had hoped we would grow into those two stereotypical old guys…heckling innocent bystanders (and each other), retelling old stories that made us howl while others just shook their heads and smiled in disbelief…even though it was all true. We would be those two old Muppets that sat on the balcony in the Muppet Show. We used to joke about that often and I really believed and hoped it would happen.
He gave me laughter, encouragement, inspiration and above all, friendship. And I loved him for it. I still do.
I hope it brings you some comfort that he was loved as much by others as he was by you and your families. The loss is felt acutely by many and shared, but also shared is his memory that, for me at least, always triggers a smile.
I knew Darryl from our high school days. He dated my best friend for a few years. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with you in your time of sorrow.

So sad to hear of Daryl’s passing , he was the funniest guy that I knew and he made school fun , Daryl actually taught me my very first drum beat on a new kit that I had just gotten for Xmas that year , I was 11 years old , he was the spark that started me on the path of a professional entertainer , a career that has given me so many blessings ! May you Rest In Peace

I am truly in disbelief , I only found out now and I’m truly in disbelief and sadder than I have words for.
I’m shocked and saddened by this news;I’m so sorry for your loss. I dated your son many moons ago. I remember it was Valentine’s Day and your kind hearted son brought me chocolate covered strawberries. Daryl had such a wonderful laugh and smile. Daryl will be missed and never forgotten.
I too only found out now of Daryl’s passing and am in disbelief. Daryl was a friend and at one time a roomate. I have many memories of going out, sharing a beer and having a good laugh, usually as we sang along to the blaring tunes making lyrics up as we went. As our lives changed and people started moving away we sort of lost touch. Whenever we ran into each other it was easy to reconnect and laugh about those times… Peace my brother, peace…
I have known Souter for many years. Loved this guy…was such a good person. Many fun times. Super sad and at a loss of words right now. RIP Souter…you will be missed!
I am just now finding out about Daryl’s passing. I met Daryl about 10 years ago and he had such a huge impact on my life during that time. I’m shocked and saddened and he will forever hold that place in my heart. My sincere condolences to his friends and family.
