Obituary of Viola Pearl Henderson

Viola (Pearl) Henderson (nee Godlonton), beloved wife of Don Henderson of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Pearl was born on September 18, 1926 in Calgary, AB. She married Donald Henderson on August 24, 1948 at the First Baptist Church. They resided in Calgary, Wetaskiwin, Lethbridge, and Banff. Pearl was a caring mother and talented painter of lovely mountain scenes, as well as the creator of beautiful baby clothes and warm afghans that her family will treasure. “God Bless you Mom we’ll miss you” Besides her loving husband Don, Pearl is survived by her daughter and family Valerie, George and Jamie; and her son and family, Brad, Therese, Steven, and Christopher, all of Calgary. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Bowness Baptist Church (8103 – 48th Avenue N.W.) on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jason Johnson officiating.
