Obituary of Bernard Charles Bearspaw

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Bernard Charles “Eugene” Bearspaw. He was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the age of 37 years. Upon his passing he was surrounded by his loving family and relatives. “Eugene” was born on September 13, 1967 in Morley, AB. He was a colourful character who lived life to the fullest, he was an outdoorsman and he believed in his culture. When he was working with the Wesley F.N., he was a dedicated, respectful, and reliable employee. “Eugene” is survived by his mother, Margaret; grandmother Georgie; brothers, special adopted brother Watson (Doreen), Delbert (Linda A), and Derek (Delphine); sisters, Berva (Ronnie), Myrna (Benny), Cecilia, and Sandy; uncles, Albert (Krista), Waylon, Harvey (Tonya), Torin, Johnny (Rosie), and Randy (Jackie); aunties, Margery (Barry), Rena Dixon, Betty (Chris), Donna-May, Lawanda (Ian), and Mary; and special grandchildren Tia and Miadyas, Special sister Linda (Waylon); as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family apologizes for those who we forgot to mention, for there were many special people in his life. “Eugene” was predeceased by two sisters, Twillo Bearspaw, and Patricia Bearspaw; and his father Melvin Bearspaw. Wake Services will be held at Margaret Bearpaw residence on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. and Monday, January 31, 2005. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Jimmy John Cemetery (Morley, AB). The family would like to extend their appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the Peter Lougheed Centre, Unit 24, and the ICU Unit Staff for the care they gave Bernard during his stay there.
