Obituary of Kenneth Caspar Schwartzenberger
It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Schwartzenberger announce his passing Saturday January 29, 2005 at the age of 63.
Ken was born January 6, 1942 in Young, SK. He moved to Calgary in 1969 and incorporated his own company in 1978, Ken-El Construction Ltd. He loved camping, dirt biking, cooking for the family and was an avid hockey and curling fan. He was someone who would always listen and do anything for his family and friends. He died as he lived, with faith, a strong spirit and courage.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jeanne; children Todd, Tracey, Trevor; and granddaughter Gracie. He is also survived by his mother Eva of Saskatoon; brothers Lambert (Evelyn) of Saskatoon, Ray (Lorrie) of Crofton, BC, Reg (Bobbi) of Saskatoon, SK; and sister-in-law Rose Schwartzenberger of Calgary. Ken was predeceased by his father Peter; sisters, Betty and Rosemarie; and brother Al.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1525 – 45th Street S.E.) on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
