Obituary of John Hector O’Brien

John O’Brien, beloved husband of Mrs. Claire O’Brien of Calgary, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2005. John worked as a Truck Driver for many years and later drove taxi until his retirement in 1995. John had a love for poetry, and as a Composer had written two books. Besides his loving wife of forty-two years Claire, John is also survived by his children, Patricia and her husband Karl Wall, Dan O’Brien, Tracy O’Brien, Sheila O’Brien, all of Calgary; son-in-law Jack; seven grandchildren Christopher, Terri, Peter, Keigan, Amber, Kelvin, and Colten; sister and brother-in-law Agnes Dooley and Gerald, of Missisauga, ON; as well as several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his son Richard; grandson, Danny; parents Win and Winnifred O’Brien; and father and mother-in-law Bull and Babs Brisebois. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 1:00 P.M..
