Obituary of George Tiloshanec

George (Đura) Tiloshanec, beloved husband of Amalia Tiloshanec passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 69 years. George was born on April 17, 1935 in Kotoriba, Croatia. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 where he worked as a Window Glazer for many years and retired in 1994. George enjoyed watching sports and playing games with friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all his family. Besides Amalia his loving wife of forty-four years, George is also survived by his son Drago (Damien) of Calgary; a sister and her family in Victoria; sister and brothers and their families in Croatia; as well as several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and their families in Croatia and Canada. George was predeceased by his parents Rok and Marija; and brother Vinko. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Church (14680 Deer Ridge Drive S.E.) on Monday, January 31, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
