Obituary of Georgina Phillips

Mrs. Georgina Phillips of Calgary passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Georgina Edith was born on June 12, 1919 near Fleming, SK and was raised on a farm South of Wapella, SK. Georgina joined the Canadian Army in 1942 and served until 1944. She joined the Order of the Eastern Star in February of 1949 and Daughters of the Nile in 1971. She has been a loyal and devoted member since. She is survived by her two sons, Douglas, and Ronald and daughter-in-law Jocelyne; two grandchildren, Jeffery and Kristina. She was predeceased by her husband Ross; two brothers; and two sisters. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Laurence Anglican Church (5940 Lakeview Drive S.W.) on Friday, January 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
