Obituary of Gordon Coulter

Gordon Coulter beloved husband of May of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the age of 84 years, as the result of complications from open heart surgery. Dad was born on July 21, 1920 in the family homestead in Shackleton, SK. He joined the Air Force in 1942, in Ottawa and was posted to Halifax where he played the trumpet in the band, until discharged in 1945. He married May on January 7, 1943. They actively farmed at Shackleton and in 1957, they moved to Calgary where Dad worked for Douglass Drugs for thirty-one years. He is survived by his wife May of sixty-two years, his daughter Shirley Delgado and her husband Lou and their son Curtis. He is also survived by a sister Dorothy Munro in Swift Current, SK, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, two brothers, Bert and George, and a sister Audrey. Dad we love you and may you walk many happy miles in heaven.
