Obituary of Rosie Myers

Rosie Myers of Calgary passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Rosie was born March 20, 1920 in Estuary, SK. She married her husband Ken in High River, AB on November 8, 1942. She enjoyed gardening and took special pride in the vegetables she grew. Rosie also enjoyed baking and will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful mother. She will be sadly missed. Rosie is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Les and Nancy Myers of Calgary; as well as her daughter Donna and grandchildren, Marie and Jamie. She is also survived by her sister Alvina Grumbach of Bentley, AB and her brother Ed Schimpf of Ponoka, AB. Rosie was predeceased by her husband Ken; as well as her three sisters Mary, Susie, and Molly and her six brothers Fred, Henry, Jacob, David, Adolf, and Rudolf. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, January 21, 2005 at 1:00 P.M.
