Obituary of Marion Jean Lees

Jean Marion Lees passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital on Friday, January 14, 2005 at the age of 86 years. Jean will be sadly missed by her close nieces, Betty Ann Rowe, Margaret Ronca, Penny Whitlock and their families; as well as cousins, nieces and nephews in British Columbia, Scotland, Australia and the United States. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Susan Lees; sisters, Bella Cotton and Tina Lees; and her brothers, Bob, Andy, Jimmy and Tommy. Jean was born in Oyen, AB and lived in Calgary most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and their families and took great interest in her great-niece’s and great-nephew’s lives and accomplishments. Aunty Jean will be remembered with much love and fondness. “Other things may change us but we start and end with family.” A Private Family Memorial will be held.
