Obituary of Michael Allen Hume

Michael Allen Hume of Calgary passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the age of 53 years and leaves behind a loving family, including his only child, Rebecca, whom he adored. The beloved son of Joan and James Hume and the husband of Rita Hume, Michael Allen Hume was born December 22, 1951 in New Orleans, LA. Michael was widely respected as a self-employed Graphics Artist; his friends and colleagues will remember him as a talented and generous professional, diligent and honest to a fault. Michael was the eldest brother of James, Mary and Barbara, who cherished him for his offbeat humor and his example of perseverance in difficult circumstances. Michael’s parents will miss him deeply; they shared many small and large joys with him, not least of which was the gift of a wonderful granddaughter. Rebecca will remember a devoted father who loved her above all else.
