Obituary of Vera Alma Duhamel

Vera Duhamel of Crossfield, AB passed away at the Rockyview Lodge, Crossfield on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the age of 93 years. Vera Duhamel was born on October 21st, 1911 at Pontiex, SK. She moved to Kincaid, SK in 1919 where she attended school. Vera married Sam Duhamel in 1942 and they farmed in the Airdrie, AB area. Vera moved to Crossfield in 1973 and resided in the Rockyview Lodge. She is survived by her brother Art Smith of Saskatoon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Art on June 11, 1973 and two sisters and six brothers. Funeral Services will be held at Crossfield United Church 1005 Ross Street, Crossfield, AB on Friday January 14, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kelly Osgood officiating.
