Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Pilkington

Margaret Elizabeth Pilkington of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Margaret was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She was educated in Manitoba and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba. Margaret moved to Calgary and worked for several years before she married her husband Ralph Pilkington. She was a Member of the Engineers’ Wives Club, the Glencoe Club and the Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club. Margaret enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, bowling, playing the piano and listening to music as well as socializing with her friends and family. Margaret is survived by her son David; her daughter-in-law Leslie; her two grandchildren Kristi and Brett; and her favorite dog Cody, who were the loves of her life. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1993. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Sunday, January 9, 2005 at 4:30 P.M.
