Obituary of Thomas Sidney Brooker

Thomas Sidney Brooker, beloved husband of Freda, of Airdrie, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Thomas was born on December 20, 1912 in Hartfordshire, England. He married Freda Greengrow on June 30, 1940. In 1948 they immigrated to Canada where they resided in Calgary, AB and Creston, BC. After a career with Canada Post, Thomas retired enjoying twenty-five years living in Creston, BC being involved in the church activities, gardening and spending time with his many friends. Besides his loving wife Freda, Thomas is survived by his six children, Ian and Faye Brooker, Glenda and Gene Borson, Brian Brooker, Brenda Brooker, Barbara and Wayne Charbonneau and Fred and Dayle Brooker; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He is also survived by one sister, Vera Rumney of Australia as well as several nieces in England. Thomas was predeceased by his grandson, J. B. Brooker; great-grandson, Michael Pezzi and a son-in-law Alfred Beaurgard.
