Obituary of John Lane Young

John Lane Young beloved husband of Trudy of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Care West Sarcee on January, 2, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64 years. John was a member of Fort Garry Horse from 1960 to 1969 and then joined the Calgary City Police from 1969 to 1985. Besides his devoted wife Trudy, John is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Chris, and Lisa and William; grandchildren, John and Amanda all of Calgary; his mother Inez,; sister Carol,; nephew Marc and family, of Nova Scotia plus numerous extended family and friends. John was predeceased by his father John David Young. A Celebration of John?s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, # 285, (Horton Rd. S.W.) on Friday, January 7, 2005 from 12:30p.m. to 3:00p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
