Obituary of Carroll Warren Nixon

It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving, kind-hearted and patient husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Carroll Warren Nixon of Airdrie, on December 31, 2004 at the age of 90 years. Carroll was born on July 10, 1914 in Grand Forks, BC. Besides his loving wife Nancy, Carroll will be dearly missed by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Ken Doherty of Airdrie, and Beverly and Wayne Mantai of Calgary; his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Cheryl Nixon of Innisfail; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Carroll also leaves a brother and sister-in-law, Len and Hilda Williams of Airdrie and a sister and brother-in-law, Aileen and Leo Jensen of Innisfail; and one sister-in-law, Emily Nixon of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Carroll was predeceased by his parents; two brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Community Baptist Church, 2104 Big Hill Springs Road West, Airdrie, on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Derdall officiating.
