Obituary of Victor Knihniski

Victor Knihniski, beloved husband of Orlean, of Calgary passed away at the Cedars Villa Extendicare on December 28, 2004 at the age of 75 years. Victor was born on October 1, 1929 in Saskatoon, SK. He enjoyed fishing in Northern Saskatchewan, and buying and selling used trucks. Victor loved to sing and had a great sense of humour. Besides his loving wife, Orlean, of forty-seven years, Victor is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Keith Taylor; his son and daughter-in-law Gordon and Sharmon of Blaine Lake, SK; five grandchildren, Meagan, Shelby, Sandra, Anna and Myles; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Mary, and Peter and Geraldine all of Saskatoon, SK; as well as two sisters, Josephine Marshall, of Oshawa, ON and Anne Friedt of Calgary, AB. Victor was predeceased by his parents Katie and Nick; a brother Matt; and a sister Angie. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church (2223 – 34th Street S.W.) on Monday, January 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev.
