Obituary of So Seng Te

So Seng Te (Lim Seng Chong) of Calgary, formerly of the Philippines, passed away at the Beverly Centre Midnapore on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the age of 82 years. So Seng was born on December 21, 1922 in China. At the age of sixteen he moved to the Philippines with his uncle. There he met his wife Cua Siu Tin. After the passing of his wife in 1988 and retiring from his Textile Business in 1990, So Seng moved to Calgary to be closer to his family. He enjoyed continuing his education, long walks in Fish Creek Park and taking rides on Calgary Transit. So Seng is survived by his children, Lincoln and Teresita Lim, Isabel Lim, Franklin and Flora Lim, Esther and Doug Henderson, Evelyn and Bill Moore, Eunice Lim, and Emily and Jean Lagace; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Cua Siu Tin.
