Obituary of Grace Maxine Mason

Grace “Maxine” Mason passed away suddenly at home on Friday, December 24, 2004 at the age of 59 years. Maxine was born on December 1, 1945 in Edmonton, AB. She was devoted to her family and loved being a grandmother. She loved to laugh, to travel and to dance. She will be remembered for her caring good nature and her wonderful smile. Maxine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Ross Hart of Airdrie; her three sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Shawna Mason, Richard and Natalie Mason, all of Calgary, and Mark Mason of Lethbridge; eight grandchildren, Trey, Hayden, Bailey, Jada, Mason, Cale, Abby, and Kobe; and her previous husband Harry Mason. She is also survived by her sisters, Verna Burke of Entwhistle, Wendy and Tony Silverquil of Edmonton; and brother Glen and Linda Leddy of Airdrie; and her dearest friends Bev, Ann, and Nancy. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Ona; and her sister Lorraine. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clinton M. Mooney officiating.
