Obituary of Jacqueline Joy Holden
Jackie passed away early Christmas morning after a long, brave battle with cancer. Her tremendous courage to fight her disease showed her love for life.
Jackie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and a true friend to all she came across in her life’s journey. Living in Canmore since 1976, her family, friends, travel, and being a true hockey Mom were some of the things she loved so much. Her compassion and kindness to all showed she was a real angel.
Jackie will be missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Steve; sons Jeff and Wayne; her mother Phyllis Nixon; brother Mike Godfrey and his family in Ontario; father Derek Godfrey and all of his family in England; father-in-law Jim Holden and all his family in Ontario; all her relatives in Ontario, Alberta and B.C.; and all of her friends who loved her so much.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date in Canmore. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
