Obituary of Leslie Porter

Leslie George Porter passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, December 18, 2004 at the age of 87 years. Leslie was born on March 16, 1917 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England. He lived a happy and full life and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Leslie is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Maureen and Miller MacKinnon; granddaughter Lesley MacKinnon and her partner Lydia Henuset; grandson and spouse Michael and Michelle MacKinnon; a son and daughter-in-law Bryan and Elizabeth Porter; granddaughter Araby and grandson Justin; two great-grandchildren Hanna and Mitchell MacKinnon; a brother and sister-in-law Arthur and Vera Porter of England; as well as several nieces and nephews. Leslie was predeceased by his wife Margaret, who passed away in October 2003; a brother Albert; and a sister Winnie.
