Obituary
Obituary of Jon Allen Braun
Jon Allen Braun, beloved husband of Debbie, father to Mathew (Kari) and Jennifer, succumbed to Multiple Sclerosis. He was 49 years of age.
He was a loving father, husband, son and brother; a loyal friend, a caring and compassionate man. His courage and strength in his last years has been such a source of inspiration to all of us. Despite his struggle and suffering, Jon still loved life and never wanted to give up. That spirit and inner strength will live on in our family and those who loved him. We have lost a very special person.
He leaves behind his mother Mary Braun; sisters, Irene Wolff, Lucille Braun, Ester Taylor; brothers, Jack Braun, and Ben (Faye) Braun; sister-in-law Ann Alberda; as well as many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and extended family on Debbie’s side. The family sends a special thank you to Jon’s dear friends who never left his side throughout his courageous battle. Thank you so much to the caring staff on 3 East, Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, and Unit 32 at the Foothills Medical Centre, where Jon spent his last weeks.
