Obituary of Louis Arthur Prieur

Louis Arthur Prieur of Calgary passed away at the AgapÚ Hospice after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, bringing a full and complete life of ninety years to a close. Louis, known to his family as “Buck”, was born and raised in Calgary. After serving with the R.C.A.F., he graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. He then spent the majority of his professional life in the Oil and Gas industry. Buck’s life was filled with many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed photography, gardening and sharing his home with an ever-present family cat. Buck is survived by his brother Robert; his nieces, Mary Biswanger, and Michelle (Frank) D’Hondt; his nephews, Todd and Tim (Bev) Prieur; as well as his great nieces and nephews. Together they hold many happy memories of how much he enriched their lives.
