Obituary of Herbert Darren Smalleyes

Herbert (Herb) Darren Smalleyes, beloved husband of Martina of Morley, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 10, 2004 at the age of 39 years. Herbert was born on August 16, 1965 in Banff, AB and was raised and educated in Morley. Herbert enjoyed life and had a great personality. His kindness and great sense of humour will forever live in our hearts. He leaves behind his loving wife Martina, his children, Eric, Lucas, James and Eryshia whom he loved so dearly. He also leaves to mourn two brothers and two sisters, Harrum (Mavis), Reggie (Jenny), Antoinette (Marlon), Vanessa (Shane); his adopted brothers, Roy (Jen) Whitney and Gilbert (Florene) Francis; step-sister, Verilynn; and special uncle Rock (Linda) Abraham. Herbert was predeceased by his parents Ross and Monica Smalleyes, his brother, Lambert Smalleyes; sisters, Regina and Evalina; cousin, Robert Baptiste and maternal grandmother Jenny Salter; Johnny Smalleyes; and Jane Smalleyes; as well as numerous relatives. The family apologizes to anyone they may have missed. Wake Services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 and Thursday, December 16, 2004 at the Family’s Residence in Morley, AB. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. in the Morley School Gymnasium. Graveside Services will be held at Bearspaw Cemetery, Morley, AB.
