Obituary of William Boot

Wilhelmus (William) Jacobus Boot, beloved husband of Charlotte Boot of Airdrie, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the age of 65 years. William was born on March 26, 1939 in Delft, Netherlands. He came to Calgary on June 1, 1972 and worked at the Credit Union in various cities and towns in Western Canada. In 1987 he changed careers to begin working in Real Estate in Calgary. William enjoyed jazz music and watching soccer. He had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren with whom he enjoyed many water fights. Besides his loving wife Charlotte, William is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Sharon Boot of Martensville, SK; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Derek Moir of Calgary; and three grandchildren, Dailen, Mason and Caleb. He is also survived by two sisters; a brother; and several other relatives in the Netherlands.
