Obituary of Henry Pankrat
Henry Pankrat, beloved husband of Mrs. Pat Pankrat of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, December 10, 2004 at the age of 78 years.
Henry was born on December 18, 1925 in Ignatevka, Russia and came to Canada in 1927. He moved to Calgary in 1949 and married Pat in 1950. Henry worked for Calgary Transit as a bus driver for twenty-seven years. Following his retirement in 1986, he enjoyed traveling. He loved being with his family and was regarded as “Mr. Fix-It”, he would tinker with just about anything.
Besides his loving wife Pat, Henry is survived by his children, Ric and Deb Pankrat of Boston; Kathy and John Tidlund of Calgary; Wilson and Kim Pankrat of Calgary; Michael and Heather Pankrat of Trenton, ON; Sarah Pankrat of Calgary; and seven grandchildren, Lyndsay, Courtney, and Beverly Pankrat, Jen and Phil King, Greg Tidlund, and Tyler Pankrat.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, December 13, 2004 at 2:30 p.m.
