Obituary of Janina Baranowski

Jean Baranowski (nee Gumbie) of Calgary passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Jean was born on January 18, 1924 in Lida, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1947. She is survived by her loving husband Marian, two daughters, Donna Baranowski, Irene (Ed) Benedet; son Richard (Audrey) Baranowski; grandchildren, Jason and Stacy Benedet, and Brad Baranowski; a sister Veronica (Mike) Bosowiec; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.) on Monday, December 13, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
