Obituary of Myrtle Ellis

Myrtle Ellis passed away peacefully at the Trinity Lodge on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Myrtle was a 1935 graduate of the Calgary General Hospital, an avid curler and golfer out of the Glencoe Club and active in The Daughters of The Nile. A very special lady, she will be greatly missed by many. She is survived by son Barrey Ellis, daughter Madalene Buckley, grandchildren, Jocelyn Frazer (Geoff), Scott Ellis (Nicole), Laura Buckley (Juan), and Michael Buckley (Eden). One of Myrtle’s greatest joys was knowing her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Sydney, Sarah, Carley, Nicholas, Alexander, Fabiola, Julia, Max, and Emmett. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband Torrey; and infant children, John and Barbara.
