Obituary of Laura Nicole Boyd

Laura Nicole Boyd of Calgary passed away at the Alberta Children’s Hospital on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the age of 10 years. Laura was born on April 9, 1994 in Calgary. She loved camping in Fairmont, swimming and crafts and was an active participant in Guides. Laura was one of the kindest, most generous souls who wanted to help others before herself. A very sensitive girl, she enjoyed making new friends and loved animals of all types. Laura had a strong spirit, trapped in a fragile body, who survived impossible odds. She had to grow up very fast in the last year. Laura is survived by her parents, Larry and Alison Boyd; her twin brother Trevor; her brother Sean; and her sister Erin. She is also survived by Grandpa Len and Grandma Inez Watt; Grandma Helen Boyd; Uncle Jeff and Aunt Gwen Watt; her cousins, Amy and Lauren; Nanny Brent Gilliland; and her dog Bailey.
