Obituary of Vernice Arvilla Conway

Vernice Conway, fondly known as Cookie Grandma, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at the age of 67 years. Cookie Grandma earned her nickname by creating and sharing baking with her family, friends, neighbours and any one who was fortunate enough to happen by. Her home was always filled with wonderful treats and a warm heart. Vernice will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jerry; her children, David (Tina), Allan (Michelle) and Pat; six grandchildren, Kody, Kohl, Crysta, Chelsea, Kenna, and Roger. She was predeceased by her eldest son Randy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive SW) on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff on Unit 61 at the Rockyview General Hospital, especially to Dr. Rudy, for all the kindness and compassion shown to Vernice while she was in their care.
