Obituary of Kenneth John McAndrew

Kenneth (Ken) McAndrew, of Calgary, passed away suddenly at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at the age of 74 years. Ken was born on August 6, 1930 in Blairmore, AB. He worked for Burns Foods for many years in Calgary before moving back to Blairmore, and later returning to Calgary in 1993. Ken is survived by his best friend and mother to their children May McAndrew; two sons, Ken McAndrew Jr. and Dave McAndrew, both of Calgary; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Earl Douris of Henderson, NV, and Kathy Slot and Dean Kolskog of Calgary; five grandchildren, Steve and Tara Douris, Mandy, Aaron and Lene Slot; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his son Darryl in 1989. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Ken’s nephew Kevin Siska and Finland for the time he dedicated to Ken over the last several years.
