Obituary of Dana Bruketa

Dana Bruketa, beloved wife of Mr. Walter Bruketa of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Dana was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family while her husband Walter worked for many years for CP Rail. He retired in 1969 and he and Dana moved to the Marda Loop area in Calgary where she continued to tend her garden and care for her family until 1996. In 1996, Dana moved to the Chinook Care Centre, due to her failing health, where she resided until her passing. Besides her loving husband Walter, Dana is survived by her niece Mary Kemle and other extended family. She was predeceased by her two sons, Walter in 1973 and John in 2003. Dana was also predeceased by her nephew Steve in 2003. Funeral Services will be held at Intercare Chinook Care Centre (1261 Glenmore Trail S.W.) on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
