Obituary of Anne May Bjarnason

Anne was born in Calgary and grew up in Creston, BC. Anne and George married and settled in Calgary and remained in the city throughout their lives. Well known as the Proprietors of Fairplay Stores, Anne and George dedicated themselves to Fairplay from the mid-70’s through to 1995 when daughter Christine assumed responsibility for the family business. Anne continued to be an active part of the store right up to her death. Anne will be remembered for her passion for gardening and her voracious appetite for novels, crocheting and spending time with family doing jigsaw puzzles.
