Obituary of Fredrick Russell Robbins

Fredrick (Fred) Russell Robbins, beloved husband of Donna Robbins of Calgary, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 25, 2004 after a battle with cancer at the age of 64 years. Fred was born on March 11, 1940 in Drumheller. He was raised in Strome where he went to school. He married loving wife Donna on August 31, 1970 in Edmonton. They later moved to Red Deer, and then to Calgary. Fred had been employed with Pepsi for many years, and was later self-employed. He loved fishing, camping, curling and golfing. Besides his loving wife Donna, Fred will be remembered by his three sons and daughters-in-law, Brad Robbins and Terri Robb of Calgary, Rod and Jae Robbins, and Lloyd and Denise Robbins, all of Strome; and five grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Jesse, Scott, and Kayleah. He is also survived by his mother Dorothy Robbins of Strome; a brother and sister-in-law Glenn and Judy Robbins of Cochrane; and the Hampshire family. He was predeceased by his father Russell Robbins in August, 2003. Funeral Services will be held at the Strome Community Hall (Strome, AB) on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev.
