Obituary of Joyce McIntosh

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with bittersweet emotions that we announce the passing of our precious mother, Joyce, on Thursday, November 25, 2004. Joyce was born in Cardston, AB on December 28, 1932; however, she had resided in Calgary since 1960. She worked in the bakery for Canada Safeway for seventeen years and her talent was evident in the cakes that she decorated for many special occasions. Joyce was well known for her deep commitment to her family and to her friends. Joyce was an inspiration to many, and a friend to all. She will be dearly missed. Joyce will be deeply missed by her children and their spouses, Joy McIntosh, Carol and Bob Kaye, Sharon and Rod Rees, Diane McIntosh and Wayne Pelletier, Richard and Margo McIntosh, and Susan and Collin Pritchard. Joyce will forever be missed, but not forgotten by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
