Obituary of Jack Fisher

Jack Fisher, beloved soulmate of Connie, wife of sixty years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at the Foothills Medical Centre. Jack was born in Norfolk, England on April 29, 1922. He was exceptional. A World War II Veteran, an amazing artist and a beautiful man. “GaGa” will be missed by many, but he left behind a wonderful legacy. Jack married Connie in 1944, immigrated to Canada from England in 1956. He was employed by the City of Calgary Electric (Substation) from 1957 to 1982. Jack led a colorful life and left an impression on everyone he met. He will be lovingly remembered by his only child, Jacqueline Jackson (Tom); his three grandchildren Adam (Sarah-Jane), Aaron (Karolina), Jaimie (David) and great grandson Adam James Jr., all of Calgary. He will also be missed by his sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Ivor Wood; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends, especially his puppy CoCo. Jack was predeceased by his son-in-law, Jim Jackson. “We love you bigger than the mountains, GaGa.” Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
